1-3 October, 2014, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design, Copenhagen

The Swedish Faculty for Design Research and Research Education is organising a three days (lunch to lunch) seminar and workshop on the broad theme of ”design games”, exploring theoretical and designerly approaches and foundations as well as case studies. Themes include theories of play, games and ethics, and participatory design games.

The event will take place in Copenhagen acknowledging that research and practices with different approaches towards the theme is particularly strong in that city. On the one side the CoDesign cluster at  the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design is particularly experienced in participatory approaches including design games and ”rehearsing futures”.
